This program's goal is the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for carpentry and entry into the workforce. After 8 months the graduate will have skills in carpentry and woodwork including: use of different tools, joining and assembly techniques, the study and construction of different kinds of furniture,  building construction such as walls and roofing, and the design and interpretation of building plans. An internship available at the end of the training helps students enter the workforce.
